A simplified residence permit is available to citizens of former Soviet Union countries residing in Kyrgyzstan. For those who prefer not to worry about residency regulations, registration in CIS countries is available.
Registration can be useful for many purposes. Waiving requirements to leave the country, proving residence for naturalization, and registering bank accounts—registration can be useful everywhere. In Kyrgyzstan, it's a mandatory procedure.
Registration in Kyrgyzstan:
“Citizens of foreign countries and stateless persons are required to complete the registration procedure within five working days from the moment of crossing the State border of the Kyrgyz Republic, except for citizens foreign states, who are exempt from registration at the place of stay in the Kyrgyz Republic."
Russian citizens staying in Kyrgyzstan for longer than 30 days must register. This means receiving a so-called "voucher" valid for six months. This registration must be renewed before the expiration of the registration period. Otherwise, the foreigner's presence in the country will be considered illegal.
Despite changes in legislation, the only document you will need is your passport.
Besides Kyrgyzstan, We provide registration of foreigners in Armenia and Kazakhstan.
We'll help you navigate the area and submit your registration application. After that, you'll receive confirmation of your legal stay in the country.
